Hello! My name is Lou Jacquin and I am a BA and MA candidate at Georgetown University.
At Georgetown, I have grown my passion for journalism and video game design. As a virtual reality development research fellow and a student in the Communications, Culture, and Technology program, I hope to further understand how to improve accessibility and representation in video games.
For my Introduction to Communication, Culture and Technology course, I did a deep dive into the keyword “Fandom”.
As a Virtual Reality Development Fellow, I worked on ABLE Trainer, a program meant to test the effectiveness of Georgetown’s ABLE program.
As an undergraduate at Georgetown University, I wrote and edited for the Georgetown Voice—the university’s student run newsmagazine.

In 2020, I created a Harry Potter themed interactive notebook. This project let me explore mixed media, non-digital art.
